A decades-long promise.
Simple, delicious, unsophisticated and ethical. It is what our family is looking for and I am sure it is what yours deserves. We are inspired by Mario, grandfather of the company's founder, Matteo Montaldo.
In the 1940s Mario develops a great passion for beekeeping and begins to dream of bringing Langhe honey all over the world. His beekeeping concept was simple: taking honey from the hive and delivering it to the consumer without additions. There would have been no need to alter the product if the bees had been respected and had been able to work quietly in an uncontaminated place like the Piedmontese Langhe.
Handcrafted packaging.
Our packaging is dedicated to simplicity, to give full prominence to our main product, our star: the honey. Every single drop of honey is produced by the bees and placed in the jar. They, passing through the territory in which they are found, reveal the pure perfume of the flower of origin. Each jar tells a story of places and seasons.
Montaldo Langhe products are totally hand-packed and can be purchased directly from the Cissone laboratory (Italy), from our authorized dealers or from our website .
